The culture of Queens New York City is multi faceted as there are people of diverse backgrounds living in Queens.

 

The aspect related to the arts and manners found in the culture of Queens NY shows that it was an epicenter of jazz in during 1940s. many great names from the filed of Jazz music such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie found shelter from isolation in the mixed communities and the society of multi culture in Queens borough while the musicians belonging to the younger generation of Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk, Dizzy Gillespie, and others — were developing bebop in the clubs of Harlem.

This institution is best known for organizing renowned exhibitions and also for holding various esteemed International and National Projects series, the Warm Up summer music series, and the Young Architects Program with The Museum of Modern Art.

 

An interesting fact to know about the culture of Queens NY is that the popular 1970 sitcom named as All in the Family had been based on the culture of Queens New York City. It has also been featured in the Spider-Man comics and films as the home of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson.

 

In another popular TC show the Ugly Betty, Queens is shown as home to Betty and her family.  The other popular TV shows which shooting was done in Queens itself.
